Makenzie is a junior at Frederick High who is on the newspaper staff for her second year. Makenzie plays on the Frederick Varsity softball team along with playing nationally year around with her competitive softball team. In Makenzie’s free time, she enjoys listening to music, napping, watching movies, and being with friends and family.

Once known as Frederick Warriors now known as The Frederick Golden Eagles. Frederick High has made many changes over the summer. Including new decor displays, new sports jersey’s, new Frederick merch, and a brand new mascot. Though FHS has yet to name the new mascot, this is Frederick High’s newest member, the Golden Eagle.

With their family beside them in celebration, these athletes plan on bringing the Warrior spirit to their future athletic pursuits.
