Aerik Ross, a dedicated senior athlete at Frederick high school who excels in football and track while shining academically. With years of commitment earning him all conference honors and a strong GPA across multiple AP classes, he balances sports and studies with faith driven hard work.
Outside the classroom, he enjoys cherishing memories in his last year of his senior year football season. Heading to Mesa Colorado University for business, he leaves a legacy of leadership and involvement, advising younger athletes to just show up.
Aerik Ross has played football and track and field for 12 years, competing as a tight end, MLB in football, and in throwing events for track and field. His standout accomplishment includes first team all conference honors, showcasing his skill and dedication on the field. Being a student athlete had kept him deeply involved in school activities, building discipline and teamwork.

Aerik has tackled a rigorous lineup of AP and honors classes, including Human Geography, US History, Seminar, Chemistry, Biology, and literature. Maintaining a good GPA amid sports and work stands as his biggest high school accomplishment, providing his ability to juggle demands effectively. The toughest part of senior year for him has been balancing classes while savoring the final moments.
Outside academics and athletics, Aerik unwinds by hanging out with friends, hitting the gym, and building legos. He’ll miss those friendships the most and holds his senior year football as a favorite memory for the thrills. Jesus serves as his biggest role model, inspiring his faith and work ethic, he hopes to be remembered for both.
After graduation Aerik plans to attend Colorado Mesa University to study business, eyeing a career in business administration or real estate. His top goal within next year is simply graduating, a milestone that caps his high school journey. With advice for younger athletes to “just show up”, he embodies persistence and positivity.
Ross is a smart, hard working senior who always stays determined no matter the situation. He has participated in numerous school activities, and he will surely leave a mark on Frederick High School.
