Brandon Coon, Staff Adviser

Mr. Brandon Coon is the adviser of The Frederick Scout. In his seven years in the classroom, he has taught grades six through twelve and subjects as diverse as advanced English, literacy, drama, tech theatre, world history, yearbook, and computer science. He sponsors Frederick's chapter of the International Thespian Society and the Quill and Scroll International Society for High School Journalists. He has a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Northern Colorado and is a member of Sigma Tau Delta.​ He currently resides in Greeley.

Finally, if two types of cones in the eye are damaged, the person will only see one color--in this case, the red and blue cones are damaged, causing the world to look green. This green come in lighter and darker colors (the rod cells in the eye control that), but the world is all one shade. This is the most challenging form of colorblindness, as its impossible to differentiate colors.
