Mason Faulkner, Photo and Image Editor

Mason Faulkner is a senior at Frederick High School. As well to joining the Journalism program, he is a member of the Yearbook staff and played hockey for over eight years. Mason used to be all about machines and math but has recently taken a turn into the arts - ever since he picked up a camera he hasn’t stopped taking photos. After high school, he decided to pursue a criminology degree at Colorado State University.

Families have been weighing the balance between the pros of playing sports, and the financial cost that families have to pay in ording for their child to participate. Most sports cost around $1,000 to $3,000 to play, while sports like ice hockey and baseball can cost up to $12,000 a year.
