A few members of Frederick Highs Swim Team for the 2021-2022 Season. There have been many challenges faced throughout this years swim season, but that hasnt stopped this team from finding success. The toughest thing about swimming is remembering that you can always improve and that just because you make a mistake doesn’t mean that mistake makes you, says Paige Wilcox, a junior at Frederick High. I think the highlight of the season was when we did our first duel and won, especially when Coach Mares had given us a pep talk previous to our meet.

It is feeling like a normal year again, and I am glad that people are able to experience [Homecoming Week], especially since both the Freshman and Sophomore [classes will be participating in Homecoming for the] first time, so it is really exciting for them getting to [take part in] it,” she adds.
