Julissa is a senior at Frederick High who has rejoined the Lantern staff for her second year after a gap year. During her first year on staff, she managed The Lantern’s social media. Julissa is also involved in the Biomedical Foundations program and enjoys exploring new countries and learning new languages.  After high school, Julissa plans to enroll in a postsecondary medical program to become a certified nurse anesthetist.
