Owen Willis, Social Media Manager

Owen Willis is a junior at Frederick High School. He is currently employed at the Innovation Center of St. Vrain Valley Schools, where he works on the District’s Innovation Lab, creates videos on the Media Team, and creates websites on the Tech Team. After high school, he plans to go to college for communications and hopes to return to work in St. Vrain in the future. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music and working on his videography skills.

Masks will be optional in all St. Vrain Valley Schools and related athletics and activities as of 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 18. This decision was made on Monday evening during a meeting of the Boulder County Board of Health. The Homecoming Week event display on the windows in the main hallway at Frederick High. Making up for missing Homecoming last year, this year’s celebration will be better than ever before. I am looking forward to everything because [all of the Homecoming Week events are] back, like the parade, pep rally and the tailgate, dress-up days [and] the dance, says Joelle Richard, a junior at Frederick High and a member of Student Council. It is feeling like a normal year again, and I am glad that people are able to experience [Homecoming Week], especially since both the Freshman and Sophomore [classes will be participating in Homecoming for the] first time, so it is really exciting for them getting to [take part in] it,” she adds.
