Helluva Boss is a self- made adult animated series made by Vivianne Medrano. The show is airing on YouTube and Prime video. Helluva boss consists of five main characters; Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie, Loona, and Stolas.
Helluva Boss made a big impact on YouTube during its first season, and all of the characters are returned for another season. This time however, they have also moved to Amazon.
These characters run the I.M.P: immediate Murder Professionals- a company that is run in hell that specializes in traveling to the human world to kill people for their demonic clients.
Most episodes consist of the IMP doing their assassins in the human world, running into a conflict, and then having to figure out a way to solve it. Throughout the show Blitzo and Stolas gain feelings for each other, and then eventually get into a very powerful romantic relationship with each other, while Moxxie and Millie are figuring out their married life together. With Millie meeting Moxxies’ mother, their relationship takes a turn.
Using the Grimorie, owned by Prince Stolas, the IMP can get In and out of the human world to do their Assassin jobs.
Hellaverse fans, the fandom name for people who like the show, are excited to find out that Helluva Boss will be premiering on prime video for seasons three and four. They’re excited to see what happens next with their favorite demons.
Vivianne wanted to create a show based on unique thematically rich villains who lived in a fictional world like hell. She got inspiration from mythology and demonology for her characters.
She aimed to create her stories with fantasy and deeper emotions. Vivianne is also the creator for another show called Hazbin Hotel. She loves making and creating shows based off of real life situations, while adding a mix of fantasy.
We were wondering how Aden Montez, a student at Frederick High School felt about the show. She says that she likes the design of the characters and that she likes the interesting hook that the show brings. However, she also says that she prefers Hazbin Hotel over Helluva Boss. She says that in her opinion, the Hazbin Hotel is more interesting. We asked her how she felt about Helluva boss being premiered on prime video; she says that she’s excited for it, but also doesn’t really care because either way it is free for her to watch.
Helluva Boss typically has cursing and sexual innuendo based scenes, so if you wanted to watch it, be aware of any children when you watch it. Overall, helluva boss is an intriguing concept for a show—one that many people will enjoy watching.
