NFL playoffs continue this week with the four remaining teams: the Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans, Green Bay Packers, and the San Francisco 49ers. The AFC and NFC championship games will be this Sunday to determine who will be playing in Super Bowl 54 in Miami. Very strong performances and unexpected wins last week from some teams leave fans and viewers questioning who will rise and who will fall on Championship Sunday.

Chiefs vs Titans

Since losing to the Titans in Week 10, the Chiefs have won eight straight games. Last week the Kansas City Chiefs made the ultimate come back in the second quarter against the Texans who were up 28, the Chiefs managed to score three touchdowns in three minutes and 18 seconds. Patrick Mahomes had a very impressive game, being the first player since 1950 with 300+ passing yards, 5+ passing touchdowns, and 50+ rushing yards in a playoff game. He will be one to watch for in the upcoming AFC championship game. The Titans led by Ryan Tannehill have had a surprising two weeks, they have knocked off two top teams: the Patriots and the Ravens who both won over 12 games in the regular season. The Titans have become a force to be reckoned with in their last two games especially Titans running back Derrick Henry. Derrick Henry has become the first player in NFL history with 180+ rushing yards in 2 consecutive playoff games. He is also the first running back with a passing touchdown in a playoff game since Allen Rice in the 1987 Wild Card Round. You can watch the AFC championship play out this Sunday against the Titans and Chiefs at 1:05 MT on CBS or on the NFL app.

Predicted winner: Tennessee Titans

Packers vs 49ers

In an action-packed game last week, the Green Bay Packers beat the Seattle Seahawks after failing to catch up with the Green Bay’s lead. Davante Adams had an impressive game, he is now tied for the most career postseason games with 100+ receiving yards by a Packers player since 1950. He is also tied with Greg Jennings for the 2nd-most career postseason receiving touchdown in Packers history. He will be the one to look out for in the upcoming NFC championship game. The 49ers destroyed the Vikings 27-10 last week in the Divisional round. The 49ers defense had 6 sacks, the most by San Francisco in the playoffs since the 2011 NFC Championship game. Since being drafted in the 5th round in 2011, Richard Sherman has the most interceptions in the NFL. The 49ers defense will be hard to take an eye off in the upcoming game after putting up stats last week. You can catch this game on FOX or the NFL app at 4:40 MT this Sunday for the NFC Championship game.

Predicted winner: San Francisco 49ers

Super Bowl LIV will be hosted in Miami at the Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, February 2nd. The 49ers were in the Super Bowl just 6 years ago but lost, their last Super Bowl win was 24 years ago against the Chargers. The Packer’s last appearance was 8 years ago when they beat the Steelers in a close game. The Chief’s last Super Bowl win and appearance were way back in Super Bowl 4, no surprise that they are the favorite to win this upcoming game. The Titans have only made one appearance at the Super Bowl and have never won.
