Sigh Robot
M3GAN has some fun memeable scenes but isn’t anything special.

The newest creepy doll movie M3GAN is an upgrade with sass and sinister. M3GAN is the “friend till the end”. It is a cutting-edge robot who comes with attitude and is a killer protective bff. M3GAN was produced by classic horror masters Jason Blum and James Wan. Although the movie is portrayed as horror personally I would say it only comes about as creepy.
In the opening of the film was Cady James and her family going up the mountains for a ski trip. But the snow was terrible and hard to drive in so they just stopped. One thing led to another; a snow plow ran right into the front of the car killing Cady’s parents and leaving her in bad condition. She’s then left with her mothers sister Gemma. Toy designer Gemma is wanting to design a life size doll with such artificial intelligence to blow her boss away. But her boss is saying no and wanting what he wants. Gemma lives a life full of artificial intelligence and finds every way to include it into her daily life. When Gemma becomes the unexpected caretaker of her 8-year-old niece, she decides to give the girl an M3GAN prototype, a decision that leads to unimaginable consequences.
M3GAN in a wormhole is a lifelike doll that’s programmed to be a child’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally. She can listen, watch and learn as it okays the role of a friend, teacher, playmate, and even a protector when needed.
Honestly it felt like the movie almost needed more. It was good and all but it just felt very predictable. When watching the trailer it hooks you in as it is going to be a scary movie that keeps you on your toes but, when initially watching the whole film it wasn’t all scary. Yes the creepy factor was there but it was predictable and you knew what was to come next.
As far as graphics they were great, the setting was perfect too. It was amazing how an actor played the M3GAN doll, you would never guess that it’s an actor playing the cool because of the robot movements and how she was overall portrayed.
I definitely thought M3GAN was okay in its own ways, but was totally different than how I totally expected it to be after seeing a preview. I know some people are familiar with other killer dolls such as Chucky and Annabelle, but this time it seems that M3GAN takes the “killer doll” film genre to a whole new level and a brand new approach.
Overall the movie has its good aspects like emotional, creepy, and the great cinematics personally this film wouldn’t be my first choice. The actors in the film are brilliant and did what they were supposed to but I think the plot fell flat and just became almost boring and way too predictable. But if your interested to find out yourself M3GAN is available to watch in theaters and streaming services.
