A taste of the season

Okay You have probably been feeling for some pumpkin flavors with fall being right around the corner. Even though it’s September fall drinks and foods have been on almost every menu, the fall colors are back once again. The real coffee lovers know that fall has nothing too do with the leaves falling or the colors changing but its the ability to order a pumpkin spice or just any seasonal drink. that you can’t normally get and good news is the wait just ended in most coffee places. Ziggi’s( local to Colorado) is selling pumpkin spice cake pops something Starbucks never attempted to make. They also have a seasonal chai that is really fantastic 10/10. They have a couple of other options but those are my personal seasonal favorites.

The PSL is back for its 19th year anniversary at Starbucks,if you don’t already know what that is that is the pumpkin spice latte. This is a big deal because this is meaning people are liking it. is the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. Along with these perennial pumpkin favorites is the newest fall beverage introduced just last year, the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato.

The pumpkin spice latte: I have personally never tried this seasonal drink because I have just never been that interested too try the drink. But if you are a Starbucks lover or you keep up then you know what it is. If you don’t I’m here to remind you. The iconic drink that you see on the paper sign all the time is made with Starbucks Signature Espresso and the steamed milk of your choice, along with a sauce made with real pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Traditionally, it’s topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice, but you can order without whip for a lighter option. You can also order the PSL iced, or in Frappuccino form.( If you don’t know what a Frappuccino is for some odd reason its a blended version of whatever drink your getting).

Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew: again i still haven’t tried this one but my sister Leiyah Albertson has and she said she rates it a 8/10. But  it its back for its 4th year so it must be popular around the season’s. is made with Starbucks Cold Brew, sweetened with vanilla syrup, and topped with pumpkin cream cold foam and a dusting of pumpkin spice. It’s worth noting that because of the fluffy cold foam, this fan favorite can’t be made vegan or dairy-free. Dairy free options can sometimes cost a little bit more depending on the products because your paying for quality not quantity. ( i am lactose intolerant so it can sometimes rob your wallet if you don’t  pay attention too the add in’s.

Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato: this drink i have heard from friends and family that it is good Aneyda Hernadez rates it a 7/10.This tasty (and sweet!) drink combines the fall flavors of apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar with a spiced apple drizzle. But after debuting in 2021, this year’s version features a major update: The standard recipe will be made with creamy oatmilk and Starbucks Blonde Espresso. “The oatmilk adds a creaminess and brings forward the oat flavors of a traditional apple crisp topping,” says Harvey Rojas Mora, Starbucks beverage developer. Still, you can order it with any milk of your choosing.

Pumpkin Hot Chocolate Starbucks has already listed all of the official fall drinks. But who doesn’t like to go off-menu once in a while? For fall drinks at Starbucks without coffee adding pumpkin syrup to a standard hot chocolate, white hot chocolate, or even chai latte For further customization, these options can also be made nonfat or with nondairy milk. ( please note this costs additional for any syrups you add too any drink!!!) Nobody i know has tried this drink yet but when I mentioned it people did get exited for the new combination!!

Caramel Apple Spice:It’s available year-round, but the Caramel Apple Spice just hits different this time of year. Made with steamed apple juice, cinnamon dolce syrup, whipped cream, and caramel sauce, it’s like a drinkable apple pie—and a great option if you want a fall drink without coffee. Personally i don’t like coffee or caffeine but if i were to try this i think that it would be good for that reason. 1 note(Caramel Apple Pumpkin Spice, which adds pumpkin spice syrup to the mix. Because the caramel sauce is made with dairy, these drinks technically can’t be made dairy-free.

Chai Latte: chai my all time favorite if i can get a chai anywhere i will, only some places make it good tho Dutch bros makes it far better then starbucks sorry starbucks you add just too much ice! But who can go wrong with a chai my rating would be a 7/10 because you have too drink it fast if its iced but if it’s hot its yummy! Or even the frappe!Made with cinnamon, cloves, and more warm spices, the chai latte is especially delicious during cooler months. If you’re looking for a nondairy Starbucks drink, try this one with coconut milk or any alt-milk of your choice.
