On September 27, a home game against BYU resulted in fans chanting anti-Mormon dismissives, for which CU was fined $50,000 by the Big 12. While no one is questioning if the behavior at the game was appropriate, there is some doubt that CU's new fan policing measures and the Big 12's flurry of fines are actually preventing bad fan behavior. While Frederick started off kind of rocky at the game against Poudre, they came back. The Golden Eagles came back and got the victory, with the final score standing at 28-36 with Frederick bringing home another victory.

Frederick kept their winning streak after playing against Montebello High School for the homecoming game on Friday. The Golden Eagles scored 42 points, while Montebello scored 21 points. The Golden Eagles are on a winning streak, and hope to keep it up.
