The Theatre Department Gets a Clue

Students at Frederick High School are supposed to buy a parking pass to put in their cars, which allows them to park in either of the parking lots. This does not make sense to students, and it just creates a hassle for the teenagers.

Fredericks Golden Eagles soared over Skyline, earning 56 points. After Fredericks first two games of the season were lost, they redeemed themselves and are hopeful to start their winning streak.

While the Frederick girls volleyball team didn't end up taking the win against Standley Lake, they still played and had fun. The girls will strive to win the next games they get to play.

Frederick Vs Mead came brings rivalry, and tension between the schools. Even though the Golden Eagles did not win, we still won in school spirit.

Turf is an artificial grass composed of "soft plastic blades of “grass” that come in large sections with a plastic backing made for drainage and the infill, a mixture of rubber pellets and sand that can be made from cork, coconut or plastic” according to AP News.

Allison McCormick is a senior who has been part of Frederick’s newspaper staff since the start of her junior year. She is a member of Quill and Scroll and has written articles about various student interest topics, with a focus on sports and senior spotlights. When not reporting for the Lantern, she can be found helping at various Student Council events, managing the girls swim team, playing on the girls soccer team, and binging tv shows at home with her dog. After graduation, Allison plans to attend university and major in sports management.
