Frederick kept their winning streak after playing against Montebello High School for the homecoming game on Friday. The Golden Eagles scored 42 points, while Montebello scored 21 points. The Golden Eagles are on a winning streak, and hope to keep it up.

While the Frederick girls volleyball team didn't end up taking the win against Standley Lake, they still played and had fun. The girls will strive to win the next games they get to play.

While the Golden Eagles lost 0-28 to rival Mead at their September 5 home opener, the home team still had an impressive crowd for so early in the season.

Turf is an artificial grass composed of "soft plastic blades of “grass” that come in large sections with a plastic backing made for drainage and the infill, a mixture of rubber pellets and sand that can be made from cork, coconut or plastic” according to AP News.
