Gavin Coburn is a sophomore at Frederick High School who has been on varsity for the past two years. He started playing soccer at the age of 3 and became in love with the sport immediately. Not only does he play for the Boys Soccer team but he also plays for the Colorado Rapids. Gavin Coburn started the first game against the Mead Mavericks, and had some thoughts after the game. He said “We could’ve given more effort after the first goal. We lost confidence and we should’ve kept our heads up and played harder. We could’ve improved on keeping possession as we kept losing the ball a lot, but we have to learn from this and move on to the next game”.
The Boys next game is against Longmont on Tuesday August 29th. The Boys are extremely pumped for this season, as they have been working hard every day whether it’s on or off the pitch. Best of luck to the boys for this 2023-24 Fall Season!
