Kenzie Kincaid, a bright, caring senior at Frederick High School, has a passion for forensic psychology. She is thinking of going to Metro State University. She wants to become a crime analyst and get to figure out crime scenes. During Kenzie’s junior year, she took forensic science and fell in love with it.

Throughout high school, Kenzie took multiple CU Succeed and AP classes. She took AP U.S. History, AP Language, AP Psychology, Intro to Fiction, CU Digital Photography, and AP Environmental Science. She also maintained good grades throughout high school and is proud of that.

Out of all the classes Kincaid took throughout high school, yearbook was her favorite. “Yearbook was a really fun class for me because it was really interactive, and I got to have a lot of fun doing it. I also made a lot of friends in that class as well.”

For last year’s yearbook, Kenzie did the P-Tech, Biomed, boys tennis, student council, cross country, and golf pages. This year, she and her group are doing the homecoming page. Kenzie always finds creative ways to design the yearbook pages and works very hard on them.

Kenzie has been in yearbook since her second semester of freshman year and has enjoyed it ever since. She has made a lot of friends and memories in that class. Former yearbook teacher Mr. Wellington has made a big impact on Kenzie throughout high school.

“Mr. Wellington was one of my favorite teachers because he was always so helpful; no matter what you needed help with, he was there, whether it was school-related or not.”

Outside of school, Kenzie works at Chick-Fil-A. She spends a lot of time there after school is over, helping customers and earning money to go towards her savings. She has worked there for around six months and loves working there because she has made many friends there.

Kincaid’s mom is one of her biggest role models in life because she has helped Kenzie throughout everything and is always there for her when she needs it. “My mom is really determined and hardworking, and she has always been there for me no matter what.”

Kenzie was also involved in helping out with the freshman during Link Crew, which she has done since her junior year. One of her favorite memories was doing Link Crew her junior year, because she got to do it with her best friends.

Kenzie stands out from the rest of Frederick because of her kind and compassionate personality. She is always there for her friends and will do whatever it takes to help people.
