Kenzie Bash is a funny, smart, and outgoing senior. She has been a cheerleader at Fredrick for all four years of high school. She’s learned through these four years of being on the cheer team and being a part of the Frederick community how to trust others and how to keep her head up even when she’s going through rough times. When she’s injured, she’s still willing to try and keep going; she cheers on her teammates and has really brought the Frederick cheer team to be a family.

After high school, Kenzie is planning on going to Mesa University in Grand Junction and studying to be an ultrasound tech. Kenzie is planning on doing college for at least four years. She’s still deciding whether to continue cheer after college or not. She’s going to try and go to work to help pay for college. After college, Kenzie wants to get her degree and a wealthy job for the state and hopefully start a family.

Kenzie says she will not miss high school, but she does say, “I will miss all the people I have met and gotten along with over the years.” The best experience Kenzie has had throughout high school is “going to all the football games because they’re overwhelming but super exciting. I also really loved being able to cheer with Dr. Fox’s daughter on the sidelines.”

One memory Kenzie will never forget from high school is Kenzie’s junior year of high school, and Frederick’s varsity cheer team made finals to state for the first time in forever. One thing Kenzie enjoyed about high school is going through new experiences

Kenzie would like to thank her mom for “helping me throughout the years and pushing me through hard times.”
