BROOKLYN WEINGARDT: University of Bridgeport

Brooklyn Weingardt signed at The University of Bridgeport located in Bridgeport, Connecticut for Gymnastics. Brooklyn will be studying Elementary Education in college, Brooklyn is most nervous e to move all the way across the country to leave her family and friends behind. As well as being with a completely new team and new coaches that have different coaching styles.

Her favorite memories and accomplishment of high school athletics was traveling across the country with her best friends to compete with all the other teams they had to compete against. As well as getting Honor roll every semester of High School and lettering academically, three time level 10 regional qualifier, and team captain for two years. Brooklyn’s advice for her teammates or any underclassman is, “Don’t stop working hard and don’t quit on the bad days because that’s how you learn an grow not only in your sport, but as a person. Working through the hard days will make the good days even better.

Brooklyn states, “I’d like to thank my parents and family for being my biggest supporters no matter what and always believing in me. I’d also like to thank my coaches for pushing me to reach my fullest potential and always shaping me into the person and athlete I am today.”
