Rodrigo Leo is one of the most well known seniors at Frederick High School. Rodrigo was born on December 26th 2002 which Rodrigo states is, “The worst day for a birthday.” Regardless how long you have been attending Frederick High School, you have probably heard Rodrigo’s name at some point. Rodrigo is scheduled to graduate with the class of 2021 in May, we asked Rodrigo,
“What is your favorite school accomplishment that you’ve achieved.”
“One of my school accomplishments would have to be how involved I was throughout my four years, joining any club, the first three years that were available was one of the best experiences and most stressful experiences of my life.” Rodrigo stated.
Rodrigo joined the Frederick High School soccer team his freshman year, and has been playing ever since. He has lettered all four years of his soccer career. Rodrigo has also been extremely active in clubs like Spanish culture, Chick Fil A Leadership Academy, and Link Crew. Rodrigo stated that, “Constantly having to set up a schedule balancing school sports and extracurriculars was very stressful for my mental health, but I stuck through it and had friends and family help me out throughout the way, without them I don’t think I would’ve made it this far.”
“What do you plan to do after high school?” We asked.
Rodrigo stated, “I will be attending Metro State after high school and have not decided what I am going to pursue but I’m excited for what’s to come!”
“What’s your favorite school activity”
“My favorite activity would have to be soccer, it was just a big help for me to get some steam off and get into my own little world to forget about things that were stressing me out” he stated.
Rodrigo is one of the strongest and most kind hearted seniors I’ve ever met at my time in high school. He is destined to make a big Impact on the world and the people around him. Overall high school has been a stressful time but also one of the best times of his life, he has made countless memories and has learned everything he needs to learn to take on what’s in front of him!
