MIKENNA HOFFMAN: Fort Lewis

Mikenna Hoffman signed at Fort Lewis college located in Durango Colorado for Cross Country and Track. Mikenna will be studying as a Exercise Promotion Science Major, Nutrition Minor in college, she is most nervous for how much of a lifestyle change college will be. She has never really been away from home and it will definitely take some getting used to.

Her best memories and accomplishment of high school athletics was traveling to Arizona to compete Nationally with a couple of her teammates. She quotes “It was absolutely amazing. The memories that we made that trip were amazing and it was honestly the most fun I’ve had in a long time.” In 2021 she qualified for State in a 5K also in 2021 she received a honorable mention All-Conference. Mikenna’s advice for her teammates and underclassman is, “Please please please don’t set limits for yourself. You are capable of doing anything you please as long as you put the work in. Everyone has bad days and how you handle the bad days is what matters.”

Mikenna states, “I would like to thank my parent for being an amazing support system to no end, and my biggest fans. I would like to thank Coach P and Rein for constantly being the voice in my ear to push me a little harder when I thought I couldn’t go another step.”
