Why We Need Bathroom Attendants

A cleaner for a public restroom is referred to as a bathroom attendant, restroom attendant, toilet attendant, or washroom attendant. They take care of upkeep and cleaning, making sure that supplies of paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and other necessities are always available. If there is a price to use the restroom and there is no coin-operated turnstile or door, the attendant will take payment.

If you’ve ever gone into one of our schools bathrooms you’ve seen someone vaping or rushing to hide something in their pocket.  There is no secret that vaping is a serious and larger issue that is ever been before, the temptation keeps getting bigger and school bathrooms are a bigger cause than you may think.  Most kids get into vaping from the school and since all the hallways and classrooms have someone watching over them, that leaves the only secretive place that they are capable of doing it in, the bathrooms.

Our school also has the issue of completely running out of soap halfway through the day, the bathroom attendants would be able to refill them and proetect them from being pulled off of the walls themselves.  Which leads to my last point, kids are constantly destroying bathroom stall doors, the hand dryers, and even the sinks themselves.  Having a bathroom attendant wouldn’t allow the students to do that since they are being monitored at all times.
