This movie was so good if you haven’t watched it stop what you’re doing and go right now. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was released in theaters on November 11, 2022. This film is in a timeline, it starts with the death of the Black Panther, mirroring Chadwick Boseman’s death, then it illustrates how everyone is handling his death. Rihanna had allowed them to use her song Lift Me for a tribute of remembrance of Chadwick Boseman which is nice to him because she hasn’t released a song in six years. Throughout this movie, Shuri, the sister, tries to take her mind off of her brother’s death doing anything she could do. Namor took the princess, Shuri, and when she got free he destroyed Wakanda, and with that, he then killed Shuri’s mother.

Shuri has experienced a lot of losses and the grief she had built anger. She wanted to go and kill the man that killed her mom. Throughout the movie, they say that no matter how angry you are, violence isn’t the answer. It took time for her to understand that but by the end of the movie, she realized killing him wasn’t the answer. She made amends and let him live as long as he yielded off his kingdom, The Talokans. The movie was well-written and the actors did a great job. My Favorite part is definitely when Shuri shows everyone she is in the black panther suit because it was well-upgraded and she looked really good. However, the only thing is that you need to watch the movie from beginning to end to understand the whole thing. One cool thing that stuck out to me was how it was culture-based Wakanda was Africa yeah but they included Mesoamerica which is Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Belize, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. And to see all of those cultures in one person in the movie was cool to see.

The Talokans are the enemy’s kingdom and they are people who were in a way “cursed”. This is because they once were on land and then drank a special herb that let them breathe underwater; however, it took the ability to breathe on land without an oxygen mask. Namor, however, is the only one who can breathe on land and underwater, by the end of the movie they then reveal that the water is his way to getting stronger and without it he is weak. Namor has an underwater kingdom that is secret almost like Atlantis. This kingdom hasn’t been shown to anybody above ground except for Shuri and that is only because he wants her to start a war with him and be on his side which also didn’t happen. At the end of the movie during the credits.

I definitely would recommend this to anyone interested in watching it because as someone who loves Marvel, this is by far one of my favorites. I would say this movie has so much action and thriller in it so if you enjoy movies like that watch this one.
