Mr. Matt Loyd

Mr. Matt Loyd just joined FHS this fall and is teaching Ironworks and is also the Golden Eagles head football coach. Out of his thirty years of teaching Mr. Loyd says he has enjoyed teaching advanced weight training the most because, “it is great to see students reach their full potential in the weight room.” 

Mr Loyd went to CSU for college and says he decided to go into teaching because, “I wanted to help students grow physically, mentally and emotionally, so they grow as a person.” He says that things at Frederick are going well so far and he wants everyone to know that, “I want to help them get better.”
